  • Contract Data: Documents you upload for AI-powered contract review. These are processed in real time and are not stored permanently unless you choose to save them.
  • Communication Data: Messages sent through our in-app messaging system between players and agents.
  • Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, device type, browser, IP address, and referring URLs collected automatically.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Basket Bot platform and its features.
  • Match players with FIBA-licensed agents based on career goals and preferences.
  • Power AI-driven contract analysis, career analytics, and salary estimates.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Send service-related communications (account updates, security alerts).
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our product and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. AI-Powered Features

Basket Bot uses artificial intelligence to provide contract review, agent matchmaking, career analytics, and our 24/7 AI assistant. When you use these features, your inputs (including uploaded contracts and chat messages) are processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Perplexity). These providers process data according to their respective privacy policies and do not use your data to train their models. We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for the service.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Anthropic and Perplexity for AI features).
  • Other Users: Profile information you choose to make visible (e.g., player profiles visible to agents, and vice versa).
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and safety.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted database storage, secure authentication via Supabase Auth, and role-based access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded contracts processed for AI review are not permanently stored unless you explicitly save them. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
